Written on the road and shaped by years of constant touring, Prey to the Crow explores themes of mortality, movement and living in the now — delivered through groove-driven blues, Americana storytelling and songs built to breathe in a live room.
Performing as a tight, road-hardened duo, Julian and Beci blend guitar, vocals, percussion and harmonies into a dynamic, stripped-back show that’s equal parts intimate and powerful. Drawing from hill country blues, folk and alt-country traditions, their performances move easily between quiet intensity and deep, rolling grooves — the kind of set that rewards close listening as much as it does toe-tapping.
Special guest White Lightning open the afternoon with their hard-hitting Melbourne blues-rock duo sound. Featuring gritty slide-guitar riffs and immersive, heavy rhythms, White Lightning bring a raw, old-school blues energy that cuts straight to the core — loud, honest and deeply rooted.
