Alison is a piano player, vocalist and writer of considerable regard and her experience in the blues is extensive. "She gotta lotta soul" says Andrew Junior Boy Jones. Between her bands: Ali Penney and The Money Makers, Chris Mawer Band, The Vibrolators, Wild Rice, Drybones, The Midnight Ramblers, she has opened for an impressive list of legends including Johnnie Johnson, Chris Cain, Lucinda Williams, Cephas And Wiggins, The Tailgaitors and Chris Wilson. She is a professional musician and has been performing, recording, and composing music in bands for over 15 years.
